…And the winner is:AMERICA

232 years ago a few brave men had the audacity to propose a radical concept that all men were created equal.  Most of these men contemplated the idea while African slaves they owned toiled under the harshest conditions from sun up to sun set to bring them wealth. Had Barrack Obama been alive during this time he would have lived his entire life as the property of his slave master.

148 years ago Barrack Obama would have been judged to have enough negro heritage to be considered a slave with no human rights in the southern half ofthis nation. In the Northern half he would have been considered a second class citizen of little value as a human being.

50 years ago there were states where Barrack Obama wouldn’t have been allowed to urinate in the same bathroom as a white man.

Tomorrow, Barrack Obama may be elected to the Presidency of the United States of America.

Obviously the votes need to be counted and John McCain is a worthy opponent who could upset Obama and win the office, but regardless, this election is a defining moment in the history of this country and humanity.

If Barrack Obama should be elected, it would prove beyond any doubt that the vision layed down by our founding fathers was more than revolutionary, instead, bordering on divine enlightenment. To construct a set of documents from the “Declaration of Independence” to the “U.S. Constitution” providing future generations with words so powerful that they can manage the lives of millions of people or provide for the security of one, is by definition genius.

We are on the precipice of witnessing the ultimate achievement of men who believed in the God given rights of all men to be free to pursue their individual dreams based upon their natural ability without prejudice, malice, or social status.  The American Dream has become reality.

Fox News: Love affair with Bill Ayers

It’s actally becoming comical to watch Megan Kelly, (the beautiful, intelligent, funny, and fun to watch Megan Kelly) roll out the Bill Ayers/Barack Obama association every morning on her morning show as if TODAY, unlike yesterday, or the day before we may have forgot that John McCain really really wants the world to believe Barack Obama pals around with the “washed up terrorist.”

Megan’s eyeballs almost burst out of her head today while skewering some college professor for signing a petition that basically says Bill Ayers is a respected member of the educational profession and that his reputation as such shouldn’t be in dispute. I actually agree with Megan that Ayers is a unrepentant thug who masks his hatred for the country by consorting with the educational elite as a way of justifying his existence. I disagree with the relevance this has to Obama who everyone agrees has disavowed Bill Ayers, has admitted to a limited association while serving on an educational board with the man and attended an afternoon tea meet and greet some fifteen years ago with the man when he started in politics.

OKAY WE GET IT…  Do you have to whore yourself to the McCain camp everyday with what amounts to a Bill Ayers infomercial every day of the week. I have to believe that even Megan Kelly’s integrity has to be getting a little bruised in this shameless attempt to keep this guy in the news.

…And that’s the problem, Fox news continuing disbelief that their candidate John McCain, is apparently losing this election. It’s a huge problem for Fox because they have built their reputation and fortune around the conservative movement and promoting a republican agenda. Make no mistake that a huge Obama win is as much a referendum on the “Right Wing” smear machines of Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, Ingram and company as it is a referendum for a fundamental change of direction for the country. An Obama Presidency, and especially a successful Obama presidency would shatter the distorted politics of misrepresentation by the smear machine led by Fox news.

This is why Fox News has trotted out their best news team of Bill Hemmer and Megan Kelly every morning for the last week to start the day with a one/two punch of why McCain is great and Obama is a bum. While Kelly replays the Bill Ayers and Barack Obama planned to get married when gay marriage becomes legal story, poor Bill Hemmer was sent to Iraq to show first hand how good the surge “JOHN McCAIN” supported was working. It back fired a little today as a suicide bomber took out a convoy, but “Hey, that’s why John McCain says we can’t leave.”

Fox News, who puts the HIP in hypocrisy by claiming main stream media is in the tank for Obama while tauting their news as “Fair and Balanced” runs about a 9-1 ratio of negative stories or slants about Obama. …And that’s fine, they found a niche of about 5 million people who watch their advertising and make money for them and want them to promote their guy, but at some point I’d feel a whole lot more comfortable if they would just change the name of their news cast to FAUX NEWS, that would be “fair and Balanced.”

Colin Powell: “I’m voting for Obama”

The republicans are already spinning the absolute insignificance of today’s announcement that Colin powell’s endorsement of Barrack Obama is anything but one black man pandering to another. This of course was to be expected from a campaign that is hell bent on alienating anyone who gets in the way of it’s quest to achieve power. It doesn’t matter if Powell was a General, a Statesman, a trusted confidant of republican leaders for the last 20 years, or a stalwart of conservative values.  Nope, now he’s just a dupe, a lackey, a turncoat. “Don’t pay attention to him he’s black, what’s he suppose to say,” is the conventional wisdom shot from the bun holes of conservative pun-dents such as Rush Limbaugh the most infamous half truth teller on this planet.

This was a great day for the Obama campaign, but not the endorsement exactly, more the vitriol and negative reaction that is beginning to bubble from the depths of rotted souls of the republican spin doctors that need to paint Powell’s confirmation of Obama’s ability as mere fodder.

The problem: The American people won’t buy this round of republican pig slop.

Colin Powell is not only one of the most respected people in the country, he is one of the most honest, with a record to back him up. A man of total integrity, self awareness, and discipline that both liberals and conservatives respect without question.  While the McCain camp may be inclined to minimize the impact of Colin Powell’s words they can’t dispute the honesty of his opinion, and that bodes well for Obama and America. It is significant because with his endorsement and explanation Powell articulated in one line something that even the Obama campaign couldn’t do.

Powell called the McCain campaign a “narrowing” of republican values that excluded many Americans.

Exclusion has been the theme of the republican campaign, “if you’re not with us you must be against us.” “You must be Un-American.” “You must be a terrorist.”  “You must not love your country.”  On and on the theme continues that if you dare question the republican authority of say something against republican values you must be WRONG!

This is the republican message and this is why Colin Powell’s words mean something, he is a Republican, and he is an American, and he has just told the republican party, ENOUGH is ENOUGH.  Good job Colin….

McCains Campaign: Real Virginia = Real Stupid

…And so it goes that another McCain advisor  “Nancy Pfotenhauer”  stepped in doggy doodoo on MSNBC while trying to explain who the “Real Virginians” of Virginia must be.  Obviously they are not anyone interested in voting for Barrack Obama because that would be Un-American as pointed out the day before by “Michelle Bachmann” the idiot, sorry, I mean esteemed congress woman from Minnesota.

In case you missed that interesting revelation, Ms Bachmann was interviewed by Chris Matthews of Hardball when she somehow found herself transported back to the days of congressional witch-hunts of the 1950’s.  Yes,  within the matter of 5 minutes this twisted soul managed to condemn Barrack Obama, most of congress, and 40% of the electorate as Un-American with an agenda to somehow destroy the principles of our great nation. However, it seems that the only people she believed to be UN-American were those who disagreed with her premise that John McCain should be the next President.

So between Nancy and Michelle you are Un-American if you vote democratic and not “Real” if you support Obama in Virginia.  Add to that Sarah Palin’s recent remarks that she liked to visit the real patriotic places in America and you might just get the sense that these three woman are:

A. Female wannabes of the three stooges.

B. Castoffs from “Desperate housewives”

c. Fear mongering losers desperate to incite “racism, hatred, anti-American feelings from uninformed voters.

The answer is of course – A.  Female reprisal of the “Three Stooges.”  Thank God we cleared that up because if anyone ever took these three woman as anything but brainless dimwitted pandering fools, we’d be in trouble.   I’l betya Sarah gets the role of “Moe.”

Palin/McCain: KILL HIM! Are you serious?

KILL OBAMA!

OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

TERRORIST!

We live in a time that has witnessed atrocity’s that rival those of the greatest evil to ever inhabit the human form. We’ve seen people beheaded on television for nothing more than publicity. We’ve seen women stoned to death for falling in love with a man of another religion. We’ve seen young girls raped by thugs masquerading as militants keeping people in line, and we witnessed thousands of innocent people die in the single most horrific attack on this nation ever.  Each and every one of us live with the notion that maybe, just maybe a terrorist will plot to blow up a bridge we cross, a train we ride, a building we work at, or store where we shop.

We know these things are real because we’ve seen them up front and personal, but we don’t hide, we don’t crawl into a bunker and pray the bad guys will disappear, we stand up straight and walk out of our homes every day as Americans proud of who we are and most importantly knowing that when confronted by those who would do us harm – our nation harm – or our countrymen harm, we will stand tall and defend ourselves, our families and our neighbors.  What we have witnessed in the last week from John McCain and Sarah Palin defies logic, defies reason and most importantly defies every single principle John McCain has stood for in his 72 years on this planet.

On at least three occasions this week McCain or Palin have held rallies where screams of hatred or chants of death to Obama (parapharsed) were hurled from the crowds in loud unmistakable fashion. If you didn’t know better you would think the rally was being held in the streets of Tehran or in Lebanon. But no, these were Americans chanting death to another American.  Threats to kill a man,, who like McCain,, believes in his country and wants to be president to serve the greater good of the people.

Amazingly, neither McCain or Palin, halted their prepared speech’s and condemned those hurling the disrespectful remarks aimed at Barack Obama. In fact, the point could and should be made that the candidates themselves in-sighted the very hatred of these people by referring to  Barack’s middle name Hussain and continuing to imply that he “pals around with terrorists” an outrageous assertion of such magnitude that it boggles the imagination, it’s just not true, and they know it.

This is not leadership, this is disgusting, it’s so beneath the American people and what we stand for as a nation its a travesty to watch.  I’m ashamed of John McCain.

I don’t care what your politics are, I’m serious, if McCain wants to call Obama a “Nigger” or “That One” then fine, but to stand idly by while your opponent, the father of two beautiful children and the husband of a lovely lady is threatened with death by a crowd of supporters you egged on, is not just wrong, but by any standard, UN-AMERICAN.  No one knows who the hell Sarah Palin is, but I’d like to know what the hell has happened to John McCain?

Karl Rove: Bullys John McCain

I can only imagine Karl Rove lurking menacingly in some dinky, dark concrete bunker, buried hundreds of feet below Pennsylvania Ave in the heart of the nations capitol.  Naturally Dick Cheney’s coffin with the natural dirt from his original burial site is located in the cavern next door, but for now lets concentrate on Rove.

Technically Rove is not involved in the McCain campaign, (loud cough, exhales grunt that sounds suspiciously like the word “Bull#%T”) However, we know that sinister forces are at work guiding the terrorist rhetoric flowing from the lips of John McCain and Sarah Palin like diarrhea from a baby that just ingested a box of crayons. We know this for two reasons, first, John McCain has enough trouble just trying to remember what day it is and that Spain is a friend of the United States, and Palin still has to refer to the crib notes scribbled in the palm of her hand when addressing, well, anyone actually. The point, These two couldn’t formulate a plan of attack on an ant hill with a can of Raid in one hand and a shovel in the other. They are by definition, being led by the horns by someone in their campaign, that someone is KARL ROVE.

I suspected something was up at the end of last week when Rove climbed out of his FOX hole last week to enlighten the American people that according to his map, Obama was winning 273 electoral votes. The red flag immediately popped into my mind as a long time observer of “the architect” (may I add) “of destruction.”  See, the architect doesn’t make announcements like that unless he has a plan to follow up the message, and the message is clear:

To all who fear black men, democrats, and commie pigs, Obama has taken the lead, and we must stop him at all costs.

This was step one in the process, a necessary announcement by the Grand Wizard of the Republican revolutionary guard. Next of course was to get the talking points out to the fair and balanced “Right Stream Media” for prompt delivery to Bill O’Righty’s “folks,”  “Limbaugh’s losers,” and “Hannity’s Insanity’s” who swallow every piece of “Great American” jerk seed thrown in their direction like  penned sheep in a petting zoo. The final step was to teach the propped up leadership of the Republican party – McCain/Palin – to tow the line and deliver the message which they have managed to do even if only half believing the garbage themselves.

Confident that calling Obama a terrorist because he sat on a fund raising board with Bill Ayres, (which was funded in part by a grant from the federal government) and attended a tea party hosted by Ayres 12 years ago somehow aligned the 8 year old Obama with a man who set off bombs in the late 1960’s.  Is this Stupid?

The answer is surprisingly enough, NO!!!!!!!!   Not from Karl Rove’s perspective, because Rove knows that his core, his vaunted republican base, aren’t stupid, THEY ARE AFRAID.  Afraid of blacks, afraid of liberals, afraid of homosexuals, afraid of strangers, and most importantly afraid of CHANGE.

Rove knows that as sure as you’re reading this blog. He panders to that fear, he’s counting on that fear to motivate the poor people who sit at home and listen to Rush Limbaugh rant hatred of a political party that he single handily has demonized to the minds of his listeners. Rove knows that if he pushes hard enough he will get these people to the polls on November 4th to counter the terrorist Obama and save America from becoming a communist state.

Karl Rove is a political bully. He bully’s presidential candidates, he bully’s his own party and worst of all he bully’s the republican constituency all the while hiding in his cave or appearing in the Fox hole with that despicable smirk on his face claiming that he doesn’t have a clue as to why people think he’s involved.

It’s too bad John McCain isn’t man enough to stand up to Rove and call him out on his bullying tactics, thank goodness Barack Obama isn’t afraid of him.

Sarah BARRACUDA, watch out John McCain

In politics one adage defines the career of a politician more than any other, that would be:

                                                             “DOG EAT DOG”

Of the little we do know about Sarah Palin, we know for sure that she is not above throwing someone under the bus to advance her own political career, she did that in Alaska by ratting out some in her party for so called “abuses” which got her the name as a reformer.  We know that the people of Alaska give her tremendous support and think shes the best thing since sliced bread, but we also know that people in both parties are leery of getting on Sarah’s bad side and those especially in her party don’t trust her.

This is interesting because over the last 2 days two seemingly innocent remarks, or non remarks can be attributed to Sarah that could make one scratch at the head and go hmmmmmmmm……

The first comes in the form of a non-remark and goes back to the V.P. debate. Simply put, Sarah didn’t really come to John McCain’s defense very much when attacked by Joe Biden, and almost gleefully chided McCain when talking about drilling in An war. Couple that with her new found acceptance of civil unions for gays and one might just say that she dosen’t  seem in lock step with John in a time when she really needs to be supportive.

The second and much more telling remarks:   http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081003/ap_on_el_pr/palin

…come in the form of bewilderment from Sarah as to why the McCain campaign would stop campaigning in Michigan, a state they must have in order to win the election.  The subtleties of her remarks tell volumes about her state of mind, the McCain’s state of the campaign, and most importantly McCain’s real view of Sarah Palin.

First examine the disrespect showed Palin by the McCain camp dissing her on the news that the campaign pulled Michigan. According to Palin she read about it in the newspapers.  It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that McCains people view Sarah as a side show to amuse the public, and NOT a player in the campaign. If this kind of disrespect was handed to Joe Biden by the Obama camp, Biden would rip their hearts out.

Giving Sarah some credit here, she has recognized the snub and more importantly has probably come to the conclusion that she is not highly thought of by the Karl Rove campaign staff and that her opinions on such matters are not considered at all.  Hence, Sarah, who remember,, is not dumb by any stretch of the imagination, may have decided that she had best start looking out for herself and her future since regardless of the presidential race outcome this is McCains final shot. So here we have sweet little Sarah basically shooting a moose across the bow of her boss’s ship in effect telling the camp that they are dead wrong on Michigan, and better think twice about making such an announcement before confering with her. Strong Stuff from the little lady.

Back to the debate for a moment:

Lost in the circus like atmosphere of the medias big ring wonder tent, the world watched in awe to see if the gorgeous trapeze girl would plunge 80 feet to her demise in her virgin leap off the political platform. She didn’t of course. However, if you watch closely, and listen closely, you saw something of a diversion by Sarah Palin that went right over the tops of the medias most savoy pun-dents. The subliminal message you received from Sarah Palin was not firm conviction of her fearless leader, but instead, a warm embrace of her opponent Joe Biden, and a singular message to the American people that “I Sarah Palin, have arrived.”

Now, its been two days since the debate, and people aren’t talking about John McCain’s great plans for America, they’re saying to themselves, “That Palin woman didn’t seem to bad, after-all, I think she has a real future in national politics.”  Sarah took care of Sarah.

Now follow that up with the Michigan remarks and you begin to see a picture emerging that isn’t very flattering to John McCain, the risk of putting a MAVERICK on your ticket is that you could get stabbed in the back, he has.

Now the final point on McCains suicide trip out of Michigan, his campaign is effectively over, (barring some incredible lapse in judgement by Obama in the next few weeks) McCain is sliding faster than a White Castle hamburger down the gullet of a Saturday night drunk.  It was a huge mistake for the campaign to admit defeat in Michigan because defeatism spreads like wildfire and the republican base will sit out the election if they feel little hope in making a difference, I’m sure we will see a correction in the coming days as to the wordplay on this but, the damage may well have been done.

D.G Allen, yes I called it again…….

The republican BLACK HOLE….

No, not the space between Sarah Palin’s ears, that’s just silly…

I’m referring to the vast energy source that seems to suck all reference from  REPUBLICANS to President George Bush, the worst president in history, or the failed leadership of a republican congress for the first six years of his administration. The great source of power that sucks any mention of  republican failed policies which have lead to economic disaster from the lips of Sean Insanity, Bill O’Righty, or Rush Bimbo as they BLOVIATE about how the damn democrats and of course Bill Clinton are to blame for the mess. How a war, started by republicans, ran by republicans, reversed course by republicans, tanked by republicans, surged by republicans, and still remains in virtual limbo, from republican leadership, will lose if democrats take over.

It truly is an amazing thing to witness as republicans won’t even acknowledge that the President of the United States is republican.  It’s like they hope no one will notice.  Like the guy who cheats on his wife, gets caught zipping his pants in front of naked woman,  and denies, denies,  denies… If he denies it enough, maybe she’ll believe it didn’t really happen.

Criminals do this, they swear up and down that they didn’t commit a crime until they believe their own B.S.

What we see here is a republican party that has literally brought our great nation to its knees and much like Bart Simpson, claim “They didn’t do it”.

YES YOU DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is your fault republicans. The war is your fault! The economy tanking is your fault. People losing their homes is your fault! Oil companies making obscene profits is your fault! Bin Laden still on the loose is your fault! The nations infrastructure falling apart is your fault! The outrageous deficit is your fault! Russia regaining cold war status is your fault!!! …And you know something else blame Clinton all you want, 911 happened on your watch, own it.

I’m sick and tired of your Rush Bimbo and company’s 30 million dollar spew machines fabricating boldfaced lies, racial attacks, and obscenely inflammatory rhetoric spins blaming the entire fault of your lousy policies on someone other than yourselves. Take responsibility for your actions for a change, stop blaming every else. Americans are tired of your fair and balanced refusal to accept responsibility for setting the country back 25 years, and we are sick of your lies and deceit.

Your candidate for President has proved himself to be a pandering opportunist who thinks the American people are children excited by the mere mention of Mighty Mouse coming to save the day.  Well, here’s a message for the core, Americans have grown up in the last eight years and were tired of being treated like goofs, were not going to take it any more and the first thing were going to do is band together as Americans and stick all of you in the black hole you’ve so righteously created.

McCain’s Entitlement: The Presidency

What the last 2 weeks should have taught the American people about John McCain is that an attitude of entitlement as emerged from his campaign. Beginning with his declaration that “the economy is fundamentally strong,” to his self appointed position as “messianic overseer” of the congressional economic bailout, to his flippant disregard for the importance of the presidential debates, McCain believes he should be anointed and not elected president.

As Dick Morris, a avid contributor to Fox News and a frequent guest on the Bill O’Reilly show pointed out last week (paraphrased) “McCain sees himself has a knight on a white horse coming to save the day, a brilliant move.” I agree completely (though not for the same reasons) with Dick Morris a former Bill Clinton adviser turn political pundit who is usually wrong to such degree that it amazes me Fox still cuts him a check.

McCain doesn’t see himself as President, he sees himself as a mythical creation sent by the Gods to cure all of America’s woes in our greatest time of need. A “White Night” sent to battle the forces of darkness, (yes deliberate racial undertones, read them and curse the author)  John McCain, a man you can trust, as opposed to, well, you know who. John McCain, a man with all the answers, (albeit wrong 90% of the time if you judge them based on his voting record with George Bush.)

“MCCAIN, THE REFORMER.” “MCCAIN, THE MAVERICK.” “MCCAIN, THE STALWART.”   John McCain, everything to everybody…  How dare anyone question the natural ability of such a great man or deny his succession to the throne of the United Sates.

The culmination of this view should have been obvious to even the casual political observer at the Friday night debates. Even if you excuse his expressions of disdain for Obama, his scowls, his refusal to make eye contact, or his apparent contempt as “game face” or “disciplined concentration,” his words told the tale. “You’re naive,”  “you’re inexperienced,” “you don’t know what you’re talking about.”   Translation;  “You shouldn’t even be on the same stage as me, senator, you’re not worthy.”

Arrogance, elitism, snobbery, professorial dissertations, all characterizations heaped upon Barack Obama as disqualifications for the presidency are emerging as the natural attributes of John McCain.

The utter and complete arrogance or worse, ignorance, of a sitting Senator to suggest that he, and only he can go to Washington and lead the the other ninety nine sitting Senators in a negotiation he knows nothing about was ludicrous, by any measure.   Was it elitism or stupidity when McCain sat silent with Obama and other leaders at the presidential invitation to discuss the bailout.  Was it snobbery or disrespect for McCain to hold a nation at bay while he decided whether or not the importance of debating an unworthy minion could be fit into his schedule.

McCain chafes with indignation when asked about his questionable vice presidential selection. He deflects questions about ads that blatantly lie about his opponent with retorts that Obama should participate in town meetings if he doesn’t like the lies. He defends his campaign staffs documented ties to lobbiests by suggesting that anyone who questions them are liars, and he has become increasingly unrepentant in defending a war that will enter its sixth year with out resolution.

As November 4th nears it is becoming more and more apparent that John McCain is tired of the campaign, and tired of campaigning. He’s convinced himself that the presidency is his and the sooner he gets to it, the better off we will be.  It is so obvious to McCain that he is the only choice in this race, we the people, should be ashamed of ourselves for even considering an alternative.  At least the  American people can take solace in that regard, we do have an alternative.
